Professional Experience

Instructor

As an Instructor for iD Tech in the iD Coding & AI Academy, at both the University of California Irvine and University of California Los Angeles, I instructed C++ courses, including: Game Programming: Algorithms and AI, Game Engine Development. In these courses I utilized tools for 2D graphics, including Simple and Fast Multimedia Library (SFML). I guided the students through the implementation of algorithms crucial to game development, including pathfinding and map generation, as well as the designing of APIs for creating game content and build foundational code for variety of games.

April 2018 - March 2019

Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer for California State University San Bernardino in the Academic Technologies & Innovation department I was able to collaborate with multiple disciplines and departments throughout project development. I was part of the team that developed virtual reality simulations, using the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, in C# using Unity 3D. These VR simulations were created for the anthropology and nursing departments. Through the development process I incorporated artificial intelligence tools, including IBM Watson and AWS, into the projects. In addition to this, I also implemented 3D models, animations, and textures into the projects, using software such as using Cinema 4D and Adobe CC.
